The Asturian Association of Family Businesses (AEFAS) launches a Programme for the Promotion of Advanced Management to improve the competitiveness and efficiency of family businesses in Gijón.
The project is committed to boosting economic and business activity in the city of Gijón. It is set in motion to optimise the knowledge and experience of consolidated businessmen in the field of the family business, and to guide new businessmen who find themselves in a context of generational change.
As part of the project´s activities, a round table entitled "The role of women in family businesses" has been organised. The colloquium will take place on Thursday 21 February at 18:00 hours in La Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura, where the protagonists of the round table are: Gema Coria (Vega Pelayo), Mª José López de Heredia (Viña Tondonia) and Yolanda Trabanco (Grupo Trabanco). The aim of this session is to debate the data from the study and how the role of women in the family-business ecosystem is evolving.
